Job Description

Job Summary:

SOS Recruitment is seeking an experienced Security Engineer to join our team. As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on IT system security issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and Develop ICT System Security Activities: Develop and implement effective ICT system security strategies to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information.
  • Achieve Authority to Operate (ATO): Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve ATO by ensuring compliance with ICT security requirements and developing a System Security Plan (SSP).
  • Develop a System Security Plan (SSP): Create a comprehensive SSP that outlines the security controls and procedures for IT systems.
  • Assess Compliance with ICT Security Requirements: Conduct regular assessments to ensure compliance with ICT security requirements and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead the Application and Compliance of Security Operations Procedures: Develop and implement security operations procedures to ensure the effective management of security risks.
  • Negotiate with ICT Engineers and ICT Security: Collaborate with ICT engineers and ICT security teams to develop and approve Concept of Operations, SSPs, and Executive Briefs.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable Experience in ICT Security Activities: Proven experience in ICT security activities with a focus on Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • High-Level Knowledge of ICT Security Threat and Risk Assessments: Strong knowledge of ICT security threat and risk assessments and the ability to recommend mitigation/remediation strategies.
  • Experience in Production of Complex Technical Documentation: Experience in producing complex technical documentation.
  • Formal Training/Professional Certification: Formal training or professional certification in ICT security (e.g., IRAP Assessors).
