Compas is currently in search of several Cyber Security Engineers to support a Federal Government Department in a long-term capacity. This position involves the effective planning, execution, and delivery of cyber security transformation initiatives.
Contract Details:
12-month contract with potential extensions.
Baseline security clearance is necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain Cyber Security and Compliance solutions in both hybrid and cloud-only settings, adhering to Australian Government Cyber Security standards and business requirements.
- Configure, support, and monitor various products, including:
- Microsoft Sentinel
- Microsoft Security and Compliance
- Microsoft Information Protection (MIP) and Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
- Microsoft Defender 365
- Microsoft Defender Advanced Threat Protection (ATP)
- Automate and deploy solutions using Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
- Collaborate with diverse teams, including business units, technology experts, external vendors, and other specialists.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by the Program.
- Create comprehensive documentation such as Detailed Designs, High-Level Designs, As-Built configurations, and standard operating procedures.
