Business Analyst with Healthcare Expertise

We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to join our team in the healthcare domain. This is an exceptional opportunity for an analytical professional to leverage their expertise and drive meaningful business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and analyze business data, providing actionable insights through statistical techniques and ongoing reporting.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Intelligence, IT teams, and subject matter experts to define reporting solutions that meet organizational needs.
  • Facilitate project groups in developing survey tools, metrics, dashboards, reports, and oncology monitoring plans, focusing on analytical and statistical approaches.
  • Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, including Epic EHR, to inform strategic decisions.
  • Present business analyses to non-analytical audiences, such as administrators and clinicians, ensuring effective communication of complex concepts.
  • Contribute to the development of meaningful departmental goals and objectives by analyzing needs and providing recommendations that align with the organization's strategic direction.
  • Ensure timely reporting of key metrics to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the healthcare domain.
  • Strong knowledge of EHR/EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, Next Gen, etc.).
  • Experience with healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, CDA, X12, etc.).
  • Understanding of HIPAA, HITECH, CMS, and other healthcare regulations.
  • Proficiency in business process modeling, workflow diagrams, and system analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
