Community Relations Manager for Indigenous Partnerships

We are seeking a highly skilled Community Relations Manager to lead our Indigenous partnerships at our Agnew gold mine in Western Australia.
About the Role- Develop and maintain relationships with host community stakeholders and strategic partners;
- Lead the Community Relations site-based team, including budget management and strategic planning inputs;
- Implement and administer all native title mining, heritage agreements, including management of related obligations, relationships, and activities;
- Provide advice and manage cultural heritage data, activities, and processes, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation;
The successful candidate will have a strong background in stakeholder management, community relations, and cultural heritage management, with experience in implementing and administering native title mining and heritage protection and management agreements.
Key Responsibilities- Drive delivery of Stakeholder Value Creation initiatives through the implementation of Gold Fields' Social Investment strategy at site level;
- Maintain and review the application of Gold Fields' Host Community employment and procurement strategies;
- Provide strategic advice to leadership around key community risks and opportunities;
- Manage and support delivery of outcomes pertaining to Gold Fields' Reconciliation Action Plan at asset level;
In addition to these responsibilities, you will also be expected to build and maintain relationships with members of the community and other organisations to achieve Gold Fields' social performance goals.
Requirements- Formal qualification in social performance or a related field is preferred;
- A proven track record of extensive practical experience in a similar role with a focus on Stakeholder management and community relations;
- Extensive native title and cultural heritage management experience, including implementation and administration of native title mining and heritage protection and management agreements;
- An estimated salary of AU$150,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience;
- A 4 days on, 3 days off, 8 days on, 6 days off FIFO ex Perth roster;
