We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Product Marketing to join our Marketing department in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the strategic marketing direction for our CFD and Share Trading products.

About the Role

This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months, commencing in November 2024. You will work closely with our Marketing team, Product Squads, and wider business to develop and execute product marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition and retention.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and articulating the product marketing strategy, positioning, value proposition, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for our CFD and Share Trading products.
  • Collaborating with the Marketing team, Sales, and Customer Services to build product knowledge and provide insights, positioning, messaging, and content to support their success.
  • Assessing market trends, competitors, and customer needs to inform product marketing plans.
  • Refining and maintaining customer propositions based on feedback and changing buyer personas.
  • Supporting the Product team with prioritization and customer-centricity in product development and feature builds.
  • Developing a Voice of Customer framework to provide constructive customer feedback for product development.
  • Driving adoption, use, and advocacy of our CFD and Share Trading platform to achieve commercial targets.
  • Developing new product propositions for key customer segments and markets.
  • Collaborating with the Product team to evaluate our proposition in market and suggest improvements.
  • Working with the Head of Growth Marketing and Senior Marketing Manager to develop educational content for upsell, cross-sell, and product stickiness.
  • Providing ongoing reporting on product marketing and GTM programs to drive improvements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong product marketing experience (ideally 8+ years) with a proven track record of driving customer acquisition and retention.
  • Minimum 3-5 years people management experience.
  • Curiosity and customer-centric mindset.
  • Ability to work with and analyze data to inform marketing decisions.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Commercial skills to understand the role of product features in company strategy and commercial return on investment.
  • Knowledge of or passion for the financial markets and online share trading.
  • Understanding of end-to-end campaign management and experience working with brand marketing teams, agencies, and digital teams.
  • Relevant university degree in business, marketing, or media/communications.
