About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Product Marketing Leader to join our Marketing team at CMC Markets. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the strategic marketing direction for our CFD and Share Trading products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product marketing strategy to position our CFD and Share Trading products as market leaders.
  • Work closely with our Product Squads and wider business to ensure alignment and effective execution of marketing plans.
  • Assess market trends, competitors, and customer needs to inform product marketing decisions.
  • Refine and maintain customer propositions based on feedback and changing buyer personas.
  • Support the Product team in prioritizing product and feature builds to ensure customer-centricity.
  • Develop a Voice of Customer (VoC) framework to provide customer feedback for product development and enhancements.
  • Drive the adoption, use, and advocacy of our CFD and Share Trading platform to achieve annual commercial targets.
  • Collaborate with the product team to evaluate our proposition in market and suggest improvements or future growth opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Head of Growth Marketing and Senior Marketing Manager to develop educational content to drive effective upsell, cross-sell, and product stickiness.
  • Provide ongoing reporting on product marketing and GTM programs to drive continual improvements and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Strong product marketing experience (ideally 8+ years) with a proven track record of driving product growth and market leadership.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years people management experience.
  • Curiosity and customer-centric mindset.
  • Ability to work with, analyze, and use data to inform marketing decisions.
  • Commercial skills to understand the role of product features within company strategy and commercial return on investment.
  • Knowledge of or passion for the financial markets and online share trading is essential.
  • Understanding of end-to-end campaign management and experience working with brand marketing teams, agencies, and digital teams to drive effective GTM programs.
  • Relevant university degree in business, marketing, or media/communications.
