Product Marketing Leader for CMC Markets

CMC Markets, a global leader in CFD trading and share investing, is seeking a seasoned Product Marketing expert to drive the strategic marketing direction for our CFD and Share Trading products.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Product Marketing professional with a strong passion and/or experience in online CFD and share trading. This role will be integral in developing and executing the product marketing strategy, positioning, value proposition, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for our CFD and Share Trading products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and clearly articulate the product marketing strategy, positioning, value proposition, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for our CFD and Share Trading products.
  • Work closely with the broader Marketing team, Sales, and Customer Services to build out their product knowledge and provide them with the insights, positioning, messaging, and content they need to succeed.
  • Assess the market, competitors, industry trends, and customer needs to refine and maintain customer propositions.
  • Support the Product team with a prioritization process and framework to ensure customer-centricity is at the heart of all product and feature builds.
  • Develop a Voice of Customer (VoC) framework to provide customer feedback in a constructive manner to support product development and enhancements.
  • Drive the adoption, use, and advocacy of our CFD and Share Trading platform.
  • Develop and deliver new product propositions for key customer segments, across different markets.
  • Collaborate with the product team and squads to regularly evaluate our proposition in market.
  • Work closely with the Head of Growth Marketing and Senior Marketing Manager to ensure appropriate educational content is developed.
  • Provide ongoing reporting on product marketing/GTM programs to drive continual improvements and recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Strong, demonstrable product marketing experience (ideally 8+ years).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years people management experience.
  • Curiosity and customer-centric mindset.
  • Comfortable working with, analyzing, and using data to make appropriate marketing decisions.
  • Good natural communicator/project management experience essential.
  • Commercial skills to understand the role a product feature plays within company strategy.
  • Knowledge of or passion for the financial markets and online share trading is essential.
  • Understanding of end-to-end campaign management.
  • Relevant university degree in business, marketing, or media/communications.
  • High attention to detail and aesthetics, and great interpersonal skills.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
