The Facilities Manager will manage the maintenance and operation of building services within Assets ensuring that the assets are maintained in good repair, utilised in the most cost-effective manner and serviced in accordance with the statutory requirements, whilst maintaining the highest level of safety and customer service.

The role involves approval of Work Orders, tax invoice processing, and contracts, delivery of Operational Expenditure budget against forecast, compliance with Mirvac's Quality Management System, and advising the Property Manager and Senior Facility Manager on maintenance and operational issues.

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in all facets of facilities management, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and a customer and guest-centric focus.

They will also have a strong understanding of local community and trade area, an innovative approach, knowledge of HSE&S, DDA, and other risk management regulations, and understanding of the NABER's rating scheme.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Approving work orders and managing operational expenditure budgets;
  • Processing tax invoices and managing contracts;
  • Advising property managers and senior facility managers on maintenance and operational issues;
  • Maintaining high levels of safety and customer service.
