Corporate Governance Role

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Governance Professional to join our organization. As a key member of our governance and regulatory functions, you will work closely with our CEO, Board, and Executive Leadership Team to uphold the highest standards of corporate governance.

  • Provide expert guidance and strategic advice to the Board, sub-committees, and executive team on governance, regulatory, and corporate affairs.
  • Oversee board processes, including agenda planning, meeting coordination, and accurate record-keeping.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations across ACNC, ASIC, ATO, and relevant housing sector regulators.
  • Lead governance best practices, maintaining robust frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Support Board development through director inductions, ongoing training, and performance evaluations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in law, governance, commerce, or management (Graduate Diploma in Corporate Governance preferred).
  • Extensive experience in corporate governance within the not-for-profit, public, or private sector.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused mindset, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
