Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our organization and drive our mission forward. The successful candidate will have a strong track record in sustainability, project management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve our organizational goals and objectives.
  • Lead and manage a team of staff to deliver projects and services that create local solutions to global problems.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including community groups, businesses, and government agencies.
  • Develop and manage budgets, financial reports, and other administrative tasks.
  • Represent the organization at meetings, events, and in the media.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent in sustainability, business administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in managing and delivering multiple concurrent community-based projects.
  • Experience in project management, including planning, implementation, reporting, and evaluation.
  • Experience in successfully managing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • High level of digital literacy, including Google Workspace, MS Office, and social media.
