About the Role

The Orchard Talent Group is seeking a visionary and experienced Chief Executive Officer to lead our client, The Sexual Assault & Family Violence Centre (SAFV Centre), into a sustainable future. As a strategic leader, you will be responsible for delivering the organisation's strategic plan and objectives, providing critical leadership, strategic growth, and business acumen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Visionary Leadership: Foster a highly engaged and collaborative values-based culture, ensuring the success and integrity of The SAFV Centre.
  • Strategic Planning: Lead a transformative agenda to firmly establish the innovation and sustainability of The SAFV Centre, driving organisational growth and development.
  • Service Delivery: Ensure the organisation is positioned to provide the highest quality of service delivery across all business units, meeting the needs of clients and stakeholders.
  • Reputation and Advocacy: Develop and enhance the trusted profile and reputation of The SAFV Centre, performing informed advocacy at the local, state, and national level.
About You

We are seeking a committed and collaborative leader who is ready to build on the organisation's outstanding reputation and shape the future phase. The successful candidate will bring:

  • Proven Leadership Experience: A track record of people and resource management, financial and business acumen, and executive mindset.
  • Sound Understanding: A deep understanding of the issues relating to sexual and family violence, gender inequality, primary prevention, social justice, and human rights.
  • Strategic Capacity: High-level capacity and experience in driving strategy, delivering organisational growth, building collaborative partnerships, and engaging with government.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to promote and represent the organisation across a range of settings.
  • Relevant Qualifications: A relevant degree/qualification and/or more than 10 years' experience in senior leadership within the not-for-profit sector.
