Screenworks Regional Crew Pathway Programs Coordinator

We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual to assist in delivering the Screenworks Regional Crew Pathways Program, an initiative supported by Netflix. With your industry connections and knowledge of contracting and employing crew, you will provide advice and guidance to early career crew members taking on their first jobs.

About the Role:

  • Develop guidelines, application forms, participant feedback forms, and other documentation required for 'On Boarding' Crew Training workshops.
  • Manage all aspects of the 'On Boarding' workshops, including venue sourcing, application calls, workshop content delivery with AFTRS, participant selection with program partners AFTRS and Netflix.
  • Select trainees from the 'On Boarding' workshops and liaise with program partners and course facilitators.
  • Source, schedule, and contract work placements for trainees.
  • Support trainees in settling into their placements and provide guidance when needed.
  • Regularly track trainees' progress through their traineeships, following up on work reports and timesheets.
  • Manage and respond to inbound location and crew queries.
  • Maintain up-to-date records on Screenworks crew and locations databases and explore opportunities to increase listings in each database.
  • You may be required to assist at other Screenworks events, including event setup, ticketing, catering, travel, and accommodation of guest presenters.

  2. Excellent communication skills are essential to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, including early career crew members, program partners, and industry professionals.
  3. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the screen industry and its challenges, as well as a passion for supporting the development of regional talent.
