Crew Development Coordinator

A highly skilled and experienced professional is required to join our team in a key role that involves delivering programs to assist in career progression for regional individuals. This exciting opportunity will see you working collaboratively with our team to secure work placements for trainees in the film and TV industry.

The program aims to provide opportunities for early career crew members by securing work for them in their first jobs. Your experience in this field will be invaluable in providing advice and guidance to these individuals.

  • Job Overview:
  • This role plays a critical part in ensuring the success of the program.
  • You will manage all aspects associated with the program, including preparing guidelines, application forms, participant feedback forms, and other documentation required to deliver 'On Boarding' Crew Training workshops.
  • You will also be responsible for sourcing venues, calling for applications, working with stakeholders on the content and delivery of the workshop, assessing applications, and liaising with program partners.
  • In addition, you will manage the selection of trainees from the 'On Boarding' workshops, source, schedule, and contract work placements for trainees, support them in settling into their placements, and provide guidance when needed.
  • You may also be required to assist at other events and participate in short- and long-term projects as needed.

About the Role:

  • Prepare guidelines, application forms, participant feedback forms, and other documentation required to deliver 'On Boarding' Crew Training workshops.
  • Manage all aspects associated with the 'On Boarding' workshops in participating regions.
  • Select participants and liaise with program partners and course facilitators.
  • Source, schedule, and contract work placements for trainees.
  • Support trainees in settling into their placements and providing guidance when needed.
  • Liaise with trainees to track their progress through their traineeships.
  • Manage and respond to inbound location and crew queries.
  • Maintain up-to-date records on databases.
