Job Opportunity

The role of System Support Specialist involves providing operational and strategic assistance to investment teams, managing systems such as Charles River, Simcorp Dimension, and BlackRock Aladdin.

Main Responsibilities
  • Offer technical support for critical investment management systems (Charles River, BlackRock Aladdin, Simcorp Dimension).
  • Develop, maintain, and support business intelligence reports, automated workflows, and data dashboards.
  • Analyse business processes and functions to specify and apply system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors for troubleshooting and testing, offering technical support for applications and integrations.
  • Work closely with the wider IT Investment team for work requests and changes.
  • Ensure compliance with IT and company policies, following change procedures and liaising with the wider IT Investment team for requests.
About You

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Experience in supporting investment systems such as Charles River, BlackRock Aladdin, and/or Simcorp Dimension.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in a System Support role.
  • Financial services domain knowledge required.
  • ITIL experience or working knowledge of incident, problem & change management.
  • Exposure to VBA, Python, SQL, and other related platforms.
  • Practical experience with Microsoft Power Platform and Power BI or other Management Information solutions.
  • Experience of audit controls and working with internal risk and audit teams.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem solving.
