Job Title: Sales Development Representative - Cloud Solutions

Our client, a leading agency in the IT industry, is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in phone-based sales roles, preferably in software or technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct outbound calls to prospective customers to generate sales qualified leads and opportunities for cloud-based business communications solutions.
  • Qualify leads and conduct needs analysis to understand potential customers' business status, requirements, and pain points.
  • Develop and nurture leads through regular follow-ups, building relationships and trust with key decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with the agency team and vendor partners to coordinate sales activities and occasional events.
  • Utilise CRM software to track and manage leads, update customer information, and document all communications accurately.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for sales qualified leads.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a phone-based sales role, preferably in software or technology solutions (1-2 years of experience).
  • Familiarity with cloud-based business communications and contact centre applications.
  • Strong track record of success in lead qualification and prospecting.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage prospects and understand their business operations and pain points.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a drive to exceed targets and deliver exceptional prospect interactions.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with the agency team and vendor partners.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage and track leads.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to evolving vendor offerings and market conditions.
  • A positive attitude, resilience, and a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic agency environment.
