About this Opportunity

A Care and Support Professional plays a vital role in empowering individuals to live their best life. Day-to-day, you will work with purpose, providing people with choice, control and self-advocacy.

We are seeking staff who have a range of availability to work as part of our team. We have both permanent part-time and casual roles available.

As a Care and Support Professional, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care where required and other personalised support in accordance with the participant's plan (this may include transportation).
  • Assisting in supporting and enabling each person to set and achieve their own goals.
  • Facilitating community inclusion or participation as required by the person you support.
  • Encouraging positive and socially appropriate behaviour.
  • Building and maintaining meaningful relationships with your colleagues and wider networks so that together, there is a connected circle of care for the person you support as well as yourself.

To be successful in this role, any previous experience assisting others who live with disability is a strength. This experience may be from previous professional or from personal life experience. With this as your foundation, you will be provided with comprehensive training and induction to ensure you have everything you need to be able to provide excellent, professional support.
