Job Title: Disability Support Worker

As a vital member of our support team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative and flexible person-centered care to individuals living with a disability.

Our goal is to empower our customers to explore and develop their personal interests and hobbies, providing them with the skills and confidence needed to live independently.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Mentoring and guiding customers in developing independent living skills such as cooking, domestic, and social skills.
  • Administering medication and adhering to individualized support plans.
  • Providing personal care, including toileting, showering, feeding, and dressing when required.
  • Helping customers engage with their local communities and culture through access to Community Participation Programs and recreational activities.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate versatility in communication skills, including interacting with both verbal and non-verbal customers. You must also possess a current driver's license, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, and up-to-date Covid Vaccinations. Formal qualifications in Disability, Community Services, or similar fields would be advantageous.
