Insurance Case Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Insurance Case Manager to join our diverse team based in Newcastle.

The Role:

This is a challenging opportunity for a seasoned professional who can effectively manage a portfolio of workers compensation insurance claims, achieving compliance with performance measures while communicating with stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of NSW Workers Compensation insurance claims to achieve optimum outcomes.Communicate with stakeholders, including workers, employers, doctors, and providers, to identify compensation needs, review coverage, and provide advice.Conduct ongoing reviews of insurance claim liability and entitlements, explaining cover details and circumstances surrounding benefits.Assist workers and employers with the claim process, providing support in completing relevant documents for timely access to services.Maintain high levels of customer service, striving for satisfaction among insured employers and workers.Perform administrative tasks aligned with portfolio management, including processing payments, reviewing documentation, and sending correspondence.Stay up-to-date with developments in workers compensation insurance coverage and claims management approaches.

About You:

A deep understanding of the NSW workers compensation scheme, legislation, and policies.Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.High resilience and ability to hold complex conversations.A team player who can work collaboratively and independently.Committed to supporting injured workers with their recovery and return to work.Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Key Requirements:

NSW Workers Compensation experience.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work under pressure.Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.

Salary Range:$80k - $95k per annum, inclusive of superannuation.
