**Job Role Overview:**

We are seeking a senior professional to lead the Medical Workforce and Education Unit, playing a critical role in delivering medical workforce services across the region.

The successful candidate will provide strategic and operational leadership, with responsibility for developing and managing policies, systems, procedures, and governance frameworks that support effective delivery of medical workforce services.

This key position involves driving change initiatives, providing expert advice, and high-level support to the District Director of Medical Services and medical managers.

To excel in this role, you will have:

  • Proven leadership skills with experience in managing complex medical workforce environments;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.

Applicants must possess current work rights in Australia or be a permanent resident or citizen.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve medical workforce services;
  • Provide expert advice on workforce management and development;
  • Lead change initiatives and drive continuous improvement;
