Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver education programs that meet the needs of our nursing team.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the team.
  • Provide one-to-one teaching, support, and in-service education tailored to individual needs.
  • Take on a leadership role as a mentor, preceptor, and role model, promoting collaboration and shared learning.
  • Work closely with nursing staff and managers to identify education priorities and address learning needs.
  • Contribute to the development and review of procedures and guidelines to ensure best practice is at the core of care.
About You
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • A relevant post-registration qualification in education or equivalent experience is required.
  • Experience delivering education and applying learning and assessment principles is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for this role.
  • Able to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and independently.
