Financial Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and technically up-to-date Financial Manager to join our entity group at TimePet, a BCorp certified organization located in Burleigh Heads. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the CEO to drive financial success across our entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare month-end reporting, including month-end journals, P&L analysis, and balance sheet management across various entities.
  2. Financial Planning and Budgeting: Develop and maintain financial forecasts, budgets, and cash flows to ensure accurate financial planning and decision-making.
  3. Financial Partnership and Communication: Collaborate with the management team to translate financial information into actionable insights, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
  4. Business Analysis and Improvement: Conduct proactive analysis of business drivers, including margin analysis, to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
  5. Team Leadership and Development: Manage a team of three employees, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure team success.
  6. Technology and Process Improvement: Identify and implement new technologies to streamline workflow and improve financial processes.
  7. Financial Operations and Management: Oversee the end-to-end finance function, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, to ensure efficient and accurate financial management.

Requirements:

  1. At least 2 years' experience in a similar financial management role.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Business.
  3. CA/CPA certification or working towards it.
  4. Experience with Pronto is a plus.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
  6. Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Able to manage and prioritize work effectively, with a willingness to roll up sleeves when needed.
  8. Experience working in an inventory-related business is a plus.
