We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to assist with contract review, negotiation, and compliance in the construction industry.

A proven process is in place, but we continuously strive to improve our checklists and methodologies with a customer-centric mindset while ensuring adequate risk management.

The primary goals of this role include:

Key Objectives

  • Achieving agreement with clients on contract terms in the shortest possible time while delivering exceptional customer experiences and meeting company risk management objectives.
  • Ensuring Operations are aware of and adhere to contractual obligations on a weekly basis.
  • Issuing payment claims in accordance with contracts.
  • Regularly checking in with Project Managers to ensure best practices in contract administration, including sending notices required under contracts.
  • Implementing contracts with subcontract installers.

To be considered for this role, you will:

Requirements

  • Prior experience in law or accounts, exposure to legal terminology, or excellent English language skills and a quick learning ability.
  • Ability to learn and interpret contract terminology and wording.
  • Skill in crafting simple yet effective additional clauses.
  • Capacity to assess risks and determine the best course of action, consulting owners/operations when necessary.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills or willingness to develop them.
