Business Development Opportunity

This is a frontline role for a brand within the wider coffee community. You will be the go-to person for current partners in a territory and provide exceptional specialty coffee to everyone.

About This Role
  • You have a passion for coffee and experience working with coffee.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, barista skills, coffee knowledge and knowledge on coffee equipment are necessary.
  • A proven track record in new business development and account management is essential.
  • Prior experience in a café/hospitality environment at management level is preferred.
  • Autonomy and ability to work towards KPIs are required.
  • Physical fitness to lift boxes, grinders, and coffee machines is necessary.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of small businesses are required.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new systems are necessary.
  • An Australian work permit and full clean driver's license are required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build and foster great relationships with a focus on quality, retention, and growth.
  • Win new accounts and open up exceptional specialty coffee to everyone.
  • Represent and showcase your skills at industry events and other forums.
  • Train and maintain our Wholesale Café Partners to meet our quality and presentation standards.
  • Strategize with our Wholesale Café Partners to increase their profitability and to meet their goals.
  • Educate and inspire prospect customers about what it means to be a Wholesale Café Partner.
