We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team in a key leadership role. This exciting opportunity will drive growth and retention across the national territory, playing a pivotal part in our next phase of expansion.
The Role- Taking full ownership of new account sales, managing the entire sales process from prospect identification and pipeline management to proposal development, competitiveness, service agreements, and closing negotiations.
- Crafting compelling proposals and ensuring a seamless transition from initial engagement to contract execution.
- Developing and qualifying new customer contacts consisting of decision makers and business influencers for product and service offerings.
- Developing and maintaining a robust pipeline of opportunities with effective pursuit strategies to achieve annual sales targets.
- Cultivating and nurturing customer relationships throughout the opportunity lifecycle, turning prospects into long-term partners and driving mutual success.
- Forging and leveraging strong relationships with senior stakeholders to drive business success and achieve strategic objectives.
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing/Management or Business Studies, and a demonstrated passion for learning.
- 3-5 years of experience in the Services industry, ideally within the Mining, Energy, and/or Hospitality sector.
- Previous experience in operational P&L accountability is highly desirable.
- Leveraging influencing skills and exceptional verbal communication abilities to develop and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in consultative selling, influencing situations, and negotiating outcomes at a senior level.
