We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategic maintenance plans for plant and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develops strategic maintenance plans for the plant and equipment
  • Leads, supervises, and oversees the work of the maintenance team
  • Ensures all maintenance activities are carried out in a safe manner in accordance with manufacturing workplace health and safety policies and practices
  • Manages work orders and oversees spare parts inventory
  • Provides downtime reporting, aiming to measure and minimize unplanned downtime events
  • Supports the maintenance team in achieving both team and individual KPIs (as allocated by the Engineering Manager)
  • Supports continuous improvement projects in conjunction with the engineering team
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience as a tradesperson (e.g. qualified fitter or electrician)
  • 5+ years as a team leader or supervisor of maintenance teams
  • Experience in an automated FMCG environment
  • Well-versed in using SAP and CMMS systems (SAP experience is desirable)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills
  • The ability to work under pressure, achieve tight deadlines, set directions, and drive results
