Job Summary:

Maintenance technicians play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of plant equipment. This position involves delivering top-notch preventative and corrective maintenance services to maintain peak performance.

To excel in this role, you will be responsible for identifying and resolving issues before they escalate, maintaining and repairing plant and tools, and designing strategies to boost equipment reliability.

  • Develop and implement creative solutions to optimize equipment performance and prevent potential hiccups.
  • Lead investigations to enhance plant reliability and functionality, ensuring optimal efficiency.
  • Maintain comprehensive maintenance records for all plant and equipment, documenting every detail for optimal operation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively address scheduled maintenance needs by identifying and resolving issues before they escalate.
  • Maintain and repair plant and tools, including electrical equipment, to ensure reliability and safety.
  • Design and implement strategies to boost equipment and process reliability.
  • Conduct thorough investigations to enhance plant reliability and functionality.
  • Maintain detailed maintenance logs for all plant and equipment.
Requirements:
  • A relevant trade qualification or Cert III in Engineering is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in quarries, mining, or civil construction, bringing real-world knowledge to the table.
  • A strong focus on safety to achieve zero harm, with a track record of developing effective SOPs and SWMS.
  • The ability to build effective working relationships with fellow employees and contractors.
  • Demonstrated capability in boosting operational efficiencies and productivity.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and database management.
