Empowering Lives: Disability Support Professional

The primary objective of this role is to provide high-quality support services to individuals with disabilities, enhancing their quality of life and ensuring compliance with established performance standards.
Duties and Responsibilities- Provide personalized support to individuals with disabilities.
- Ensure efficient service delivery.
- Support individuals in setting goals and objectives that meet their needs and choices.
- Participate in team structures.
- Effectively address the rights, interests, and needs of individuals with disabilities.
- Understand and respect linguistic and cultural diversity.
- Implement and comply with policies and procedures.
- Contribute positively to the work of the organization.
- Undergo medical, physical, and psychological assessments prior to commencement.
- Effective oral and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to write comprehensive reports and perform administrative tasks.
- Experience in disability or aged care preferred.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends.
- Willingness to travel to various facilities.
- Current First Aid Certificate.
- Current Police Check clearance.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate and NDIS Worker Screening number.
