About the Role

As a Financial Accountant at Northrop Grumman, you will be responsible for providing specialized knowledge and supporting the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager with driving continuous improvement and a strong internal control environment.

This role contributes towards internal and external reporting obligations and detailed analysis driving a results-focused organization. A valued team member within the Business Management team with a primary focus on accurate and predictable reporting (internal & external), consolidated financial planning and analysis processes, and compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.

About You

We are seeking a degree-qualified professional in Accounting, with essential CPA/CA qualifications. Your independent, highly motivated, and dynamic nature makes you an effective team member capable of demonstrating leadership qualities.

With a commitment to continuous improvement and change management, you will be an asset to our team. You will bring expertise in technical aspects of reporting and analysis, including balance sheet and P&L item analysis, identification of accounting issues, and implementing process improvements in daily activities.

Your ability to assist in the preparation of consolidated P&L and cash flow forecasts, along with other management reports, will be crucial. As a seasoned professional, you will also support the team in reconciliations, ensuring the timely clearing of reconciliation items and providing assistance on various ad hoc projects and duties as needed.
