Job Description

Operational Management & Performance

We are seeking a seasoned Logistics Manager to oversee the daily operational performance of our shipping portfolio in Australia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, supply chain management, and parcel carrier management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key metrics such as on-time delivery, cost per parcel, tracking accuracy, and loss/damage rates. They will also serve as the primary point of contact for major domestic carriers and conduct regular performance reviews to address service issues and identify improvement areas.

In addition, the Logistics Manager will troubleshoot and resolve high-priority shipping escalations and operational disruptions in a timely manner.

Carrier Relationship & Strategy

The Logistics Manager will support the development and execution of our carrier strategy for Australia. This includes assisting in contract negotiations and rate reviews, providing data-driven insights on performance and cost.

The ideal candidate will also be responsible for onboard and integrating new carrier partners and services into our platform.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

The Logistics Manager will work closely with our product and engineering teams to implement and improve shipping-related features and tools for sellers.

They will also partner with our customer service team to develop resources and processes for resolving shipping-related inquiries efficiently.

Data Analysis & Reporting

The Logistics Manager will utilize analytics tools to monitor performance, analyze root causes of issues, and identify opportunities for optimization.

They will also develop and present regular reports on shipping performance to internal stakeholders.
