Senior Agile Project Manager Job Description

About the Role:

  • Lead Agile delivery across business-as-usual (BAU) updates, production issues, and strategic product changes.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to implement and optimize processes across the product team to drive delivery efficiency.
  • Facilitate ceremonies and planning sessions for the product maintenance squad, ensuring clear priorities and smooth delivery.
  • Manage dependencies with technology, analytics, and other downstream teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Work closely with internal product managers to align delivery with commercial goals and insurer relationships.
  • Identify and resolve risks, blockers, and delivery challenges early.
  • Use Agile metrics to drive continuous improvement and boost team performance.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in Agile delivery (Scrum Master, Agile PM, or similar), preferably in product-heavy, insurance, fintech, or aggregator environments.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across BAU updates, enhancements, and project work.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience influencing at multiple levels.
  • Solid knowledge of JIRA, Agile boards, and delivery reporting.
  • Comfort working across both technical and non-technical teams.
  • A commercial mindset, with familiarity in pricing, underwriting, or insurer product processes a plus.
  • Located in Sydney, or willing to travel to Sydney for regular meetings.
