Job Title: Production Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced production leader to oversee the efficient running of our manufacturing site in Sydney.

About the Role:

  • Develop and encourage team leaders to identify areas for improvement and staff motivation.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of production, coordinating effectively with other supervisors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Effectively communicate production expectations to team leaders and team members and hold them accountable to key performance indicators.
  • Conduct regular visual checks to ensure a high-quality product at all stages.
  • Show initiative in driving performance through visual key performance indicators and lean methodologies, personal development coaching, and workshops.

About You:

  • You will have a strong rapport-builder with a demonstrated history of leading teams to improved performance.
  • You will possess a background in a made-to-order bespoke environment.
  • You will have experience implementing and actively encouraging lean methodologies across the site to reduce risk, waste, and increase efficiencies.
  • You will be able to communicate, liaise, and coordinate with other departments to ensure all parts of a product come together at the same time.
  • You will have demonstrated experience of managing upstream and downstream processes to ensure availability of raw materials and ensure on-time delivery of finished products.
  • You will be agile to adapt to numerous different product sets.
  • You will have a demonstrated history of leading safe work practices.
  • You will be able to effectively engage with all stakeholders throughout the business from upper management to the factory floor.
