Sealed Air Australia is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our Commercial Sales team. This role will be based in our Sydney, NSW office and will report to the Northern Region Sales Manager.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve maximum sales at highest margin returns
- Service, maintain, and grow designated customer base
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities from current and adjacent markets
- Plan and execute daily, weekly, and annual objectives to maximize customer contact and effectiveness
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with key decision-makers to further our business interests
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of customer orders and manage inventory within company guidelines
- Maximize company profitability through margin maximization initiatives and price changes
- Develop and implement business plans for major customers within designated territory
- Forecast customer requirements and manage SEE inventory
- Assist in the collection of outstanding debtors and enforcement of Sealed Air trading terms
- Provide regular reports and presentations to customers and coordinate training as needed
- Maintain accurate records and systems, including price books, scorecards, CRM, customer files, and product releases
- Tertiary level qualification
- Demonstrated experience in Food and Beverage packaging Account Management, preferably in the FRM market
- Proven ability to build and nurture customer relationships
- History of identifying, nurturing, and securing new business
- Food industry and/or plastic packaging products/equipment experience
- Ability to travel for short periods, interstate/overseas
- Computer literacy in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other relevant software
- High-level decision-making, strategic planning, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and systemic thinking skills
- Comfortable working in a large organization with a matrix structure
- Systems and policy knowledge an advantage for SAP, Office365, and CRM
- Driver's License
