About the Opportunity

We seek a dedicated and experienced Coordinator to oversee the daily operations and strategic development of our Before and After School Care service at Armstrong Creek YMCA BSC/ASC program.

This permanent full-time position comes with working hours varying from Monday to Friday, between 7:00am - 9:00am and 2:30pm - 6:00pm, with ample administration time during the day.

The hourly rate for the position is between $34 - $41 p/hour (depending on your qualification) + 11.5% super.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations and strategic development of the program.
  • Work with the Regional OSHC Coordinator to identify and respond to service improvement opportunities.
  • Create a positive relationship with the school, families, local community groups, and contract partners.
  • Manage a team of educators supporting you in operating a high-quality and fun Outside of School Hours Care program.

What Do I Need?
  • Either completed or working towards a Diploma or tertiary-level qualification as determined by ACECQA.
  • First Aid in an Education & Care Setting certificate (or equivalent).
  • Valid Victorian Working with Children's Check - employee check.
  • Food Safety Supervisor certificate within the first month of employment.
