As a paediatric cardiology professional, you will contribute to the development of a tertiary service within a hospital and health service in Queensland. This is an exciting opportunity to provide ambulatory and inpatient care to children and young people requiring sub-speciality services.
The role involves caring for a population including high numbers of indigenous children in remote communities with high rates of rheumatic heart disease. Additional subspecialty interests are highly desirable, including foetal echocardiography and/or imaging expertise.
You will work in conjunction with a major children's hospital, who provide cardiac surgical and intervention services. The position requires delivery of services via outreach to regional areas and catchments.
