About The Opportunity

As a Health & Safety Specialist, you'll play a key role in supporting CleanCo's health and safety performance across multiple sites. Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager, you will be responsible for providing support and advice to CleanCo's sites, ensuring all sites adopt the health and safety policies, frameworks and systems to continuously improve and drive CleanCo's performance.

This role can be based at either Cairns or Tully and is permanent. It offers the opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders across CleanCo including Asset Operations, People & Culture, Enterprise Risk, and Compliance. You'll be responsible for monitoring compliance, conducting investigations, coordinating audits, and driving continuous improvement in safety practices.

About You
  • You hold a tertiary qualification in Workplace Health & Safety or Occupational Health Sciences, with certifications in ICAM investigation and auditing highly desirable.
  • You bring experience in developing, auditing and implementing Health & Safety Management Systems, ideally within power generation or construction environments.
  • You're confident navigating legislation and regulatory frameworks, and you thrive in high-risk, multi-site settings.
  • You're collaborative, curious, and courageous - ready to build positive relationships, coach others and contribute to strategic projects.
