Rural Child Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mental Health Clinician to support children and families in rural areas through specialized mental health services.
Key Responsibilities:- To deliver clinical counselling and group sessions for children, parents, and carers.
- To provide educational sessions for school staff to promote wellbeing and address anxiety-related challenges.
- To collaborate with local healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
- To develop and implement tailored programs for rural communities.
The ideal candidate will possess post-graduate experience of at least 5 years in a relevant clinical field, along with demonstrated expertise in brief interventions, therapeutic counselling, case management, and mental health education for children and young people.
Qualifications and Experience- Registration with AHPRA or membership of the AASW is mandatory.
- A qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Mental Health Nursing is required.
