Job Overview:

We are seeking a Service Manager to join our established motor claims team.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support daily operations, guiding the team on claims handling, policy interpretation, and quality assurance.
  • Drive continuous improvement by developing efficient processes and ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate standards.
  • Contribute to business planning and support the delivery of strategic objectives through innovation and collaboration.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, while managing complaints and supporting investigations when needed.
  • Oversee claims decisions, including setting reserves and authorising payments within your authority.
  • Mentor and coach team members, sharing technical expertise to support their growth and development.

About You:

  • A minimum of 4 years' experience within a leadership role.
  • Experience within motor claims is highly regarded but not essential.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and customer-first mindset.
  • A strong understanding of customer service principles and a commitment to service excellence.
  • The ability to navigate and work across multiple systems with ease.
