Job Opportunity: Reliability Manager

This role will see you supporting the Engineering department by developing, implementing and managing a reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) strategy to optimise plant productivity using cost-effective maintenance techniques.

You will provide long-term leadership of the RCM programme to support site growth strategy and ensure equipment reliability through predictive and preventative based maintenance approaches.

About You

  • Drive RCM through the business to transform current maintenance practices and ensure the correct bias of proactive vs reactive maintenance.
  • Review and enhance preventative maintenance programs through structured RCM-based approach including FMEAs and alignment with OEM suppliers and site knowledge/experience.
  • Coach and mentor the reliability and operations teams to continually improve line performance.
  • Support and lead the implementation and optimisation of best practice systems such as 5S and lean as appropriate into the workplace.
  • Develop, manager, direct and lead the team through change.
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for equipment failures.
  • Optimise spare parts onsite based on RCM methodologies.
  • Ensure asset and spare parts management are aligned.
  • Proactively identify and minimise WHS risks.

Requirements

  • Solutions-focused with ability to supervise engineering and technical staff.
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Mechanical preferred).
  • Previous experience in high speed manufacturing environment.
  • Sound understanding of appropriate project management tools and methodology.
  • Proven experience to lead an engaged and high-performing team.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise demands and handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
