Equipment Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Equipment Maintenance Specialist.

  • Maintenance duties on plant and equipment are critical to optimising operational efficiency of the site.
  • Plant and equipment breakdown fault finding and repairs must be conducted in all areas of the site.
  • Preventative maintenance is essential to all areas of the site.
  • The successful candidate will contribute to decision-making processes for Continuous Process Improvement teams.
  • Accurate maintenance records must be completed for activities.

Essential Skills:

  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Precision in work ensures machinery is maintained to the highest standards.
  • Able to spot small issues before they turn into larger problems.
  • Strong collaboration with other maintenance staff, engineers, and production teams.
  • Able to prioritise tasks to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks with minimal disruption to production.
  • Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and ensuring the work environment is hazard-free.
  • Able to train and mentor others on safety procedures.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and manuals.
  • Knowledge of the latest technology and best practices in maintenance and mechanical repairs.
  • A proactive approach to maintaining equipment before issues arise to avoid costly downtime.
  • Able to maintain good client relations and service efficiency.
