Senior Manager Maintenance Performance Role

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Manager - Maintenance Performance to lead the delivery of preventative and corrective maintenance across our road and tunnel network, ensuring assets are safe, reliable, and performing at their best.

  • Deliver a robust Annual Maintenance Plan through our core contractor, optimising safety, reliability, and durability outcomes.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities meet asset standards, contractual obligations, and compliance requirements.
  • Oversee supplier performance, incident management, hazard reporting, and improvement initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with service organisations to enhance maintenance processes.
  • Lead a culture of excellence in health, safety, and environment (HSE), embedding policies and standards across teams and contractors.
  • Provide accurate maintenance performance reports and ensure asset registers and condition data are up-to-date.
  • Develop your team through coaching, clear priorities, and fostering an inclusive work environment.

This role is ideal for someone with significant maintenance asset management experience in complex operational environments, preferably in infrastructure. You will also have:

  • Experience managing a contracted maintenance provider.
  • Strong compliance and risk management skills, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and control assurance.
  • Proven people leadership experience and ability to develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
  • A proactive, flexible nature and resilience to adapt in a changing work environment.
