Cloud Cost Optimisation Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to drive cost optimisation across a multi-cloud environment.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Cost Optimisation Specialist to define current, transition, and target state solution architectures aligned with domain and group strategy.

The successful candidate will provide design leadership, ensuring solutions are reusable, scalable, secure, and implementable.

Evaluate FinOps tooling and lead the implementation of a modern, efficient stack.

Identify and modernise inefficient FinOps processes, driving documentation, best practices, and cost-conscious workflows.

Provide technical leadership and influence stakeholders to embed a culture of cloud cost optimisation across the organisation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years IT experience, including 3 years in IT Architecture or Design.
  • Hands-on cloud solution architecture experience, including AWS and/or Azure.
  • Exposure to FinOps practices and cloud cost optimisation.
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills to drive alignment and change.
