We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Industrial Deafness Claims Manager to join our team in Workers Compensation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Industrial Deafness workers compensation claims, ensuring the efficient handling and resolution of claims while providing exceptional customer service.
About the Role:
You will be working closely with internal and external stakeholders, including injured workers, employers, brokers, and third-party providers. Your strong organisational and time management skills will enable you to effectively manage your claims portfolio, ensuring timely updates and resolution of claims in line with Service Level Agreements (SLA). You will also be required to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring compliance with relevant workers compensation legislation and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of Industrial Deafness workers compensation claims.
- Provide timely updates and resolution of claims in line with Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including injured workers, employers, brokers, and third-party providers.
- Ensure compliance with relevant workers compensation legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records, diarise claims for follow-up, and proactively manage claims.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including iCare & SIRA, to ensure effective claims management.
- Continually identify opportunities for process improvement and work within a continuous improvement framework.
What You'll Bring:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and time management skills to effectively manage your claims portfolio.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and experience using databases.
- A solid understanding of Workers Compensation Legislation and industry processes.
- Experience in working with third-party providers, legal panel providers, and corporate clients.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to direct and work well with internal and external teams.
