Claims Advisor Role
We are seeking a skilled Claims Advisor to manage a portfolio of Industrial Deafness & Dust Disease workers compensation claims.
As a Claims Advisor, you will be responsible for the efficient handling and resolution of claims while providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of Industrial Deafness & Dust Disease workers compensation claims.
- Provide timely updates and resolution of claims in line with Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including injured workers, employers, brokers, and third-party providers.
- Evaluate and manage claims to ensure compliance with relevant workers compensation legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records, diarise claims for follow-up, and proactively manage claims.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective claims management.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and time management skills to effectively manage your claims portfolio.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and experience using databases.
- A solid understanding of Workers Compensation Legislation and industry processes.
- Experience in working with third-party providers, legal panel providers, and corporate clients.
