Responsibilities
  • Conducts daily reconciliation of customer payments, tracing transactions to system/records, and reconciling on Xero.
  • Prepares disbursement files for clients and submits payments to respective bank accounts.
  • Sends remittance advice to clients in line with approved disbursement during the week.
  • Handles requests and refunds from agents, clients, and third-party agencies.
  • Assists in cleaning up virtual mailboxes, emails, and tickets submitted to Finance.
  • Prepares consolidated revenue reports every month-end, raises client invoices on Xero, and sends invoices to clients once approved.
  • Chases outstanding AR of clients as deemed necessary.
  • Records bills received on the Finance inbox and chases approval of invoices from different department owners or users.
  • Prepares summaries of due invoices needed to be paid or settled across different InDebted entities and submits to banks for processing/approval.
  • Ensures payments under intercompany accounts are properly recorded across different InDebted entities.
  • Handles bank reconciliations across all entities, from recording transactions to correct GL accounts and Business Unit assignments, and recharges for all entities in the group, ensuring appropriate tax is applied.
  • Prepares cash flow monitoring files across all entities and plots them on consolidated files.
  • Assists the team on monthly closing requirements, compliance audit requests, other analysis, and/or ad-hoc tasks as deemed necessary.
Key Skills Required
  • We look for individuals who can adapt and learn quickly, are eager to work in a fast-paced environment, have excellent attention to detail, great communication, and time management skills.
  • Associate's/Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proficient in using Windows Applications such as Word and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail with an ability to multi-task.
  • Proactive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Strong communication and transparency.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Bonus Points for
  • Experience in a SaaS or high-growth technology business.
  • Experience handling big volumes of transactions from time to time.
  • Experience in handling Trust reconciliations (AU, NZ, UK, or USA).
  • Experience using Xero and DataSights.

Where will this role be based?
  • InDebted is a remote-first company with offices in Sydney, Manila, London, Toronto, Montreal, and Las Vegas.
  • For this role, you will need to be based in the Philippines.
