Job Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical individual to join our Risk Department as an Asset Valuation and Risk Analyst.

As an Asset Valuation and Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for setting and managing the end of lease (residual) value of vehicles and maintenance budgets for FleetPartners Australia and New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain residual value and maintenance budgets for all quotable vehicles within various asset classes.
  • Conduct ad hoc portfolio analysis to support business decisions and proactively identify opportunities to improve day-to-day processes.
  • Analyse large volumes of motor vehicle sales data to identify price trends and movements to set residual values at end of lease.
  • Utilise Excel for analysis, modelling, and calculation of forecast residual values in a complex matrix of multiple variables.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualified in a quantitative or commercial discipline e.g. Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or similar.
  • Working experience in a commercial analytical role including valuation, forecasting, pricing, and costing.
  • Working experience with SAS Enterprise Guide, SQL, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • An appreciation of motor vehicles and sound experience in the quantitative analysis of data and application of qualitative insight to derive forecast valuations.
