Job Title: Case Officer - Medical Information Exchange Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Case Officer - Medical Information Exchange Specialist to join our team at MedHealth Group. As a Case Officer, you will play a critical role in facilitating the exchange of health and medical information between our customers and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely actioning of cases within specified service level agreements
  • Liaise with specialists and medical clinics to obtain medical records on behalf of clients
  • Write accurate case notes in our medical information exchange platform
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and healthcare providers
  • Perform data entry and administrative duties as required

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and manage conflicts effectively
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Knowledge or understanding of the healthcare industry, particularly in the areas of injury rehabilitation, legal, or insurance practices
