About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Parking Officer. As a key member of our regulatory services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct patrols of public roads, public carparks, private carparks, and Council reserves to enforce sign-posted restrictions and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Assist Rangers and Natural Environment Compliance Officers in responding to abandoned items or vehicles in public places.
  • Provide timely and quality customer service to the public, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify and implement solutions to improve community safety and the environment.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV qualification in Local Government (Regulatory Services) or demonstrated solid contemporary experience.
  • Current Class C Driver's Licence.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
