About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to lead our Building and Property Operations team. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction in the provision of high-quality building and property assets that support our departmental priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on matters related to lease portfolio governance and management, asset stewardship, and effectiveness strategies.
  • Lead and manage complex projects and matters to ensure fit-for-purpose and accessible departmental building and property assets are delivered.
  • Manage and prepare complex reports, submissions, and briefings to ensure accurate and appropriate responses to ministerial and departmental correspondence.
  • Represent the department at high-level meetings and negotiate with key stakeholders to build awareness and understanding of asset lifecycle and asset operations management.
  • Build and enhance professional relationships through effective collaboration and communication strategies across all organisational levels and stakeholders.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Extensive experience working collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in property management, asset management, or a related field.
