About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Asset Management team at Judo Bank. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the management of our distressed and impaired assets, while also working closely with our Director-Asset Management and Head of Asset Management personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the management of Judo's distressed and impaired assets, including the development of strategies to support the resolution/restructure or repayment of these assets.
  • Work closely with the Credit/Risk team members to ensure effective risk management and credit assessment.
  • Handle and be involved with customer file management, including the development of strategies to support the resolution/restructure or repayment of distressed and impaired assets.
  • Support the Director Relationships, including their coaching and development to ensure the right outcomes for our customers are achieved.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners and stakeholders, including external legal and accounting/insolvency networks.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in financial services, with a preference for business banking, credit/risk or related fields.
  • Understanding and experience in customer management and credit/risk considered essential.
  • Understanding of business credit activities/business life cycle and an understanding of a broad range of SME business models and the risks associated with these.
  • Agile mindset with an ability to work independently and as part of a niche team.
  • Understanding of the overall legal, regulatory and business banking lending environment.
  • Good knowledge of risk assessment methodology, tools and processes.
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships and establish self as a trusted advisor to the business.
