Project Manager/SSE Opportunity

AAMG is seeking an experienced Project Manager/SSE to join our client partner's team in Central QLD.

This is a 9 Day Fortnight role with occasional travel to Head Office in Brisbane. The successful candidate will be responsible for all functions onsite, including Safety, Tech Services, Production, and Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the project, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with the client to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet their expectations.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including the client, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including G1-G8-G9 (S123 Supervisor), G2 (Risk Facilitator), G3 (Risk Management), G7 (Work Health and Safety Management System), and S11 (Standard 11).

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager/SSE in a coal mining environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of mining operations and technical services.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to execute a plan and manage a project to budget.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with the client and internal teams.
  • SSE Ticket (desirable).
